I don’t know what to say about this one. It was charming
Kade and Sadie has their own demons that they are dealing with. Kade wants to be the best dad for his daughters, so that means giving all of himself as much as possible. His girls mean everything to him. He made a couple of mistakes in his earlier life, lessons he learned from. At this point in his life, his main focus is work and his girls.
He made a couple mistakes in life, but his girls are who he lives for now.
Sadie just wants to be loved. I enjoy her outlook on life, but I respected the reason why she was guarded. Always longing for that comfort or protection from someone. Her parents are a tripppp….
My overall opinion of the book that it was well written, it had me engaged. The courting period between Kade and Sadie was cute. I loved how Kade went above to gain her attention. He knew what he wanted and was persistent in getting it.
I got a bit confused a couple chapters in, I kept wondering how Sadie was able to give her point of view
It did become a little bit confusing at first, I kept wondering how Sadie was given her how point of view when she was in the predicament she was. It threw me for a loop but I rode with it. Looking back, I see that getting Sadie’s point of view helped me to get a better insight of kade’s and Sadie’s relationship.
I would recommend this book cute, fun, charming and romantic.
