Happy Friday All:
It’s Friday πππ. Hope everyone has had a good week.
For me the first week of virtual schooling has ended. It wasnt as stressful π₯ as I thought it would be.
I didn’t get as much reading done as I would have liked. I am looking forward to reading Kingdom of Flesh and Bone by Jennifer Armentrout. I read the first book in the series From Blood and Ash ππ.Β You can see my thoughts on #FridayReview From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. This week I discovered another author Ivy Smoak. Ivy’sΒ new contemporary romance Empire High Untouchables.
This book is available now. See my thoughts π¬ below ‡οΈ

Empire High Untouchables Blurb
The Untouchables. Thatβs what everyone calls the Hunter and Caldwell brothers. At least, itβs my best friendβs nickname for them. And since sheβs the only one that talks to me at my new school, Iβll take her word for it.
The nickname probably comes from the fact that theyβre exorbitantly wealthy. Old wealth. The kind that isnβt flaunted around. But you can tell by the way they carry themselves. Or maybe the name just refers to the fact that theyβre so beautiful itβs almost hard to look at them.
No matter the reason for their nickname, itβs an ironic one. Because Iβve only been going to this school for a week and I already want to touch.

Empire High Untouchables is a easy quick read.
Brooklyn’s world is turned upside down when her mom passed away. She moved in with the only living relative she sorts of knows.
New town, new school, and new life. It’s all too much for Brooklyn to handle. The only she wants is to turn back time and be with her mother.
How will she charter this new life?
I found the book interesting, it has good storyline. It didn’t captivate me as much. The angst and hint of suspicion surrounding the Untouchables, Hunter and Caldwell brothers. Who is Brooklyn’s father???? All the drama gave some intrigue.
I found myself skipping through the book and just reading the dialogues. The ending came and the big mystery was revealed, then there comes the cliffhanger.
Overall it’s an okay read. π
