The Dilemma by B.A. Paris will be available June 30, 2020.

Synopsis
It’s Livia’s fortieth birthday and tonight she’s having a party, a party she’s been planning for a long time. The only person missing will be her daughter, Marnie.
But Livia has a secret, a secret she’s been keeping from Adam, her husband, until the party is over. Because how can she tell him that although she loves Marnie, she’s glad their daughter won’t be there to celebrate with her?
Adam is determined everything will be just right for Livia and the party is going to be perfect… until he learns something that will leave him facing an unbearable decision.

The Dilemma… is a heart wrenching, page-turning, tear-jerking story that keeps you on your feet.
For me this book started off slow and seemed to drag. It started off with Livia and Adam’s backstory about their relationship. You saw resentments and old wounds that have never fully healed. I didn’t get it at first and was becoming bored, but by the end of the story it all made sense. I saw why B.A. Paris decided to tell the Harman’s story this way.
Once I got through those couple rough chapters the pages kept turning and turning and I couldn’t wait to find out all the secrets. There are many secrets being kept in Harman’s household from Livia, Adam, Marnie and Josh. Some secrets are just life altering.
B. A. Paris kept me on the edge of my seat. The anticipation became too much, I wanted to find out what the secrets were so badly I found myself jumping ahead to the end of the book. I did stop myself though and realize that I too must go through the journey to really appreciate this novel.
The heart-wrenching decisions that Adam made had me cringing. I was yelling in my head “don’t do it, don’t do it.”
The plot is tragic, gripping, heartbreaking, and unexpected. The sub-characters are perfectly intertwined in the story, everyone having a role to play in the bigger story. Little by little the onions are peeled back masterfully to reveal each layer.
Overall this tear-jerker is a Must Read…
